Sessions & Speakers

Session 1: The End of the Knowledge Worker, Rise of the Influencer

The Future Workforce, changes in jobs, the economy and workforce management (30 minute Keynote)

Welcome to the next industrial revolution. John Belchamber provides you with a look to the future as he shares with you examples and unavoidable facts about what's changing and the new priorities in managing your workforce for sustainability and growth.

For example, our paradigm in many roles has been hiring based on qualifications or certifications - proving that people possess certain knowledge. If the knowledge of the world is in your pocket, proving you know a small amount about a specific area becomes less important, so if the new currency isn't knowledge, what replaces it?

Speaker:

John Belchamber – Chief Development Officer – The OrgDev Institute

Session 2: Productivity through positivity: Creating an innovative outcome oriented mindset

(30 minute activity based session)

Learn techniques to create the spark in your workplace - Google and Apple recognise it's the key. It's becoming ever more difficult to differentiate products and services in increasingly mature markets. For example, Apple's new iPhone 8 is considered an 'update' and Google says on its new flagship Pixel 2 phones that there is limited ability to differentiate based on hardware, the focus is on AI machine learning, and innovative, creative people.

In this practical session you'll have fun whilst learning from activities that can transform the mindset of your workplace to be more creative and outcome oriented.

Speakers:

Facilitated by industry-leader, award winning entrepreneur, and critically acclaimed speaker and Karen Winfield (Global Operations Director of PD Training).

People in Session 3 Measuring and Analytics

Session 3: Measuring and analytics - see how innovations can now measure the 'Ability to Influence', delivering more for less to support the future needs of our companies

(30-minute presentation and discussion)

Paul Findlay shares new findings and tools from ODi R&D partners from Australia and the USA that provide simple visual tools that are a examples of what will replace today's versions of Psychometrics and augment tomorrow's hiring strategies and professional development initiatives.

Paul will show how innovations will allow us to deliver more for our organisations for less, and how to prove that we have delivered results that have financial impact.

Speaker:

Paul Findlay – Chairman The OrgDev Institute
